What drives my research?
Every 14 days, a language dies. As someone who speaks multiple Chinese dialects and has witnessed linguistic diversity firsthand, I believe technology should empower communities to preserve their own languages, not just serve dominant ones.
What makes my background unique?
My dual bachelor’s in History and Health Science taught me to combine humanistic inquiry with systematic care for vulnerable populations. This interdisciplinary foundation now fuels my mission to create accessible tools for linguistic empowerment.
Why digital humanities?
Because the stories of marginalized communities deserve more than dusty archives. Through my work—from documenting the critically endangered Jizhao language to building decentralized language platforms—I’m proving that cutting-edge technology can serve grassroots preservation.
