My research reimagines language documentation and cultural heritage preservation for the digital age. From developing a decentralised framework that has revolutionised real-time language preservation to digitising oral histories in rural China, I create tools that put power back in communities’ hands.
With publications in international conferences and collaborations spanning Peking University to the National Library of China, my work demonstrates that rigorous scholarship and real-world impact are not mutually exclusive.
